What Makes This Place Different?
Wedding Oak Winery has a deep connection to the historic 400-year-old Wedding Oak Tree, symbolizing celebration and community. As such, many of the wines are named for a wedding theme, such as Bridal Bliss, Just Married, etc.
My Wine Pick
One standout wine at Wedding Oak Winery is 2020 Texitalia, A blend of delicate Dolcetto and Sangiovese with tannic Sagrantino grapes to add balance and color.
History and Facility
Wedding Oak Winery takes its name from the legendary Wedding Oak Tree, a 400-year-old oak that has been a symbol of unity and celebration for centuries. Their Fredericksburg location offers a cozy and inviting tasting room, complemented by stunning views of the Texas Hill Country. With knowledgeable staff and a variety of tasting experiences, the winery provides an ideal setting to explore their exceptional wines and learn about Texas’s rich winemaking history.
The Fredericksburg location is a secondary tasting room, with the original Wedding Oak Winery and vineyard (where they produce) in San Saba. We haven’t visited the San Saba location, but we plan to in 2025.
